Rename Files

If you have a group of files that you need to rename, there's an easier way than selecting and renaming each file one by one. Here's how to rename files using Windows XP.

To start, navigate to the folder that your files are stored in. Select the files you wish to rename. By pressing the CTRL key while clicking on files, you can select any group of files.
