Windows Taskbar

Definition: The Windows taskbar is a bar that usually appears at the bottom of the screen in Microsoft Windows. The taskbar displays a button for the Start menu button and buttons for open programs. Depending on a user's settings and Windows version, the taskbar may also show the clock, the Quick Launch toolbar, and other toolbars and buttons.
