Answer:

Windows Media Center is a Microsoft application that provides a full featured multimedia user experience. With Windows Media Center, you can connect a Windows computer to a TV. Some of the functions include:

  • Use a computer like a DVR to record television content
  • Play downloaded movies
  • View digital photos on your TV
  • Play music from your computer through your home theater system

Windows Media Center is available with Windows XP Media Center Edition, Windows Vista Home Premium, and Windows Vista Ultimate.
