Internet Explorer 7

Release Candidate 1

From About.com

Internet Explorer 7 is the next version of IE that Microsoft will release in late 2006. The current build of IE7, Release Candidate 1 (RC1), is intended for developers, beta testers, and enthusiasts to test as part of Microsoft's efforts to improve IE7 before its final release.

Not much on the surface level has changed since IE7 beta 3. There aren't any new features; instead, Microsoft has fixed some bugs and improved performance. One helpful change in the RC1 build is that it now automatically uninstalls earlier builds of IE7 from your computer. In previous builds of IE7, you had to uninstall earlier builds manually.

IE7 RC1 is available for free at http://www.microsoft.com/ie. As a release candidate, it's a build of IE7 that is considered mostly complete and should only have a few issues left to resolve. It's more stable than the previous beta builds of IE7, and I encourage you to go ahead and upgrade to IE7 now since it's more secure than IE6.
