Select a Faster Option

Every printer is different, but you will likely see an option to reduce the quality of your prints or increase the speed. If a lower quality print option is available, choose it and save your changes to save ink when printing. The picture below is a screen shot of my printer's preferences. To print documents faster, I choose the fastest or lowest quality option.
