How to Burn a CD

Windows XP makes it easy to burn CDs of your music, documents, pictures, and other files. With Windows XP, you don't need any other software to burn CDs.

Whether you want to burn CDs of music, documents, pictures or other file types, the basic proceedure you'll follow is the same. First, you'll copy the files to a temporary holding area. Next, you'll use the CD Writing Wizard to burn the CD.

You will need a CD burner and a rewritable CD, but if you have Windows XP, you won't need any other software to burn CDs.
