Set the Security Level to High

To change your default Internet Explorer security setting to high and disable active scripting, change the security level for the Internet zone to high.

If you don't see the sliding bar shown, you can click on the Default Level button to reset Internet Explorer to use the default security settings, instead of your custom settings. After you click on the default level button, move the slider to the high setting.
  1. Change the Default Internet Explorer Security Settings to High
  2. Open the Internet Options Dialog Box
  3. Select the Security Tab
  4. Select the Internet Zone
  5. Set the Security Level to High
  6. Save Your Changes
